"Littlel Farmers Meet the Fields" Erasmus + Project Presentation

Our school, which was built as a small school in 1944 and expanded to 23 three-storey classrooms in 1983, has a long history and tradition from the past to the present. It has a principal, three vice principals, forty-nine teachers and 1280 students from 5 to 11 years old.

Our school is located in Arifiye, one of the central districts of Sakarya, in the Marmara Region and 1 hour away from Istanbul. Our school has all kinds of physical infrastructure. The factors that motivate us to participate in the project are listed below.

 To provide different learning environments by removing education from the classroom environment, Raising awareness of EU citizenship by directing students to production rather than consumption,  To be able to see innovative practices where we can get to know different cultures and understandings that we can experience in the international arena,  To create an ecological identity,  To give students the pleasure of producing and to make them embark on a journey of new discoveries.

The project coordinators, as Bekir Sıtkı Durgun Primary School, have the equipment to effectively execute this project, and experience in project preparation and maintenance. Key personnel who will take part in our project and will play an important role in maintaining and disseminating the results after the project are Deputy Principal Leyla GÖZTÜRK;

English teacher Sacide KILIÇ; As the project coordinator, he will be responsible for the project-related regulations, the implementation of the activities, and the distribution of tasks and communication between the partners. English Teacher Şerife GÜNSEL; He will be responsible for the selection of students to take part in the project and will be in contact with other partners about student selection.

2nd Grade Teacher Osman GÜRGENÇ; Twinspace, School Education Gateway and so on. It will use social networks. Classroom Teacher Fatih Ahmet TUNGA; It will evaluate the activities and project outputs and share them with the relevant people and institutions.
