Volos is one of the largest Greek cities and one of the country's main ports and is located in the center of Greece. (320 km from Athens and 219 km from Thessaloniki) it was built in Pagasitiko Bay, a little far from Mount Pelion. It combines all the magic of the sea and the mysterious beauty of the Centaurs Mountains. Our school has a six-class computer lab and a gym used as a dining hall. In addition to music, we teach Greek, English, French, at the school. We have 15 teachers and 115 students between the ages of 6 and 12. We have experience in Erasmus. Our school has been involved in 2 Erasmus programs as well as 2 e-twinning programs in the last four years. Our experience will be important for the project. Our school has developed a nutrition education program and students are informed about the benefits of growing agricultural products. We visited agricultural farms and livestock. Two of the teachers in our school have gardens. Thus, we will have the opportunity to visit them and become familiar with how agricultural crops are grown. There is a Faculty of Agriculture in our city, so we will have the opportunity to learn from scientists the importance of developing agricultural products. All teachers with fixed positions in our school will be responsible for the running of the program. Teachers have good academic education and masters degrees in education. The principal and two teachers received further training in pedagogical sciences.
